Dusty Plains Homestead was established in 2024 by Emily Davis—proud wife and mom of two, full-time work-from-home mom, and passionate homesteader. Nestled in the heart of nature, this homestead is where Emily’s love for baking, preserving, and family come together. With a deep passion for animals and a vision to create a better, more sustainable life for her family, Emily pours her heart into every jar of homemade preserves and each fresh loaf of bread that leaves the kitchen.

When she’s not working or spending time with her kiddos, you’ll find Emily experimenting with new recipes, perfecting her canning techniques, or caring for the animals that are such an integral part of their homestead.
